Terms and Conditions for Made-to-Order Kitchen Purchases from Alton Barn Kitchens
1. Introduction These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all customers ("you" or "your") who make a purchase of a made-to-order kitchen ("Products") from Suitable Kitchens ltd T/A Alton Barn Kitchens ("we," "us," or "our"). By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. By paying a deposit you will be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
2. Ordering 2.1. Orders may be placed via Email, by phone, or in person at our showroom. 2.2. All orders are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to refuse any order at our discretion. 2.3. Upon placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation via email containing the details of your order.
3. Payment 3.1. Payment for the Products can be made via bank transfer, Visa or Mastercard or in cash (up to a limit of £2,000). 3.2. A non-refundable deposit of 20]% is required at the time of order placement. 3.3. The balance is due in stages as shown on your invoice.
4. Delivery 4.1. Delivery dates are estimated and may vary based on product availability and other factors. 4.2. We will notify you of any significant delays in delivery. 4.3. Upon delivery, you are responsible for inspecting the Products for any damage or discrepancies.
5. Cancellation and Refunds 5.1. You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of placing it, provided that any deposit you have paid will be forfeited. 5.2. Custom-made Products are non-returnable and non-refundable unless they are faulty or not as described and as such these items are not cancellable and any balance for these products not covered by the deposit will still be required to be paid.
6. Product Description 6.1. We strive to ensure that all descriptions and images of Products are accurate. However, variations may occur due to manufacturers, suppliers, and natural materials. 6.2. We reserve the right to make minor adjustments to products before delivery without prior notice.
7. Warranty 7.1. All Products come with a minimum 1 year warranty against manufacturing defects, subject to normal usage. 7.2. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, neglect, or improper installation. 7.3 Manufacturers may offer longer warranty periods which will be honoured.
8. Liability 8.1. Our liability for any loss or damage arising from a breach of these Terms is limited to the purchase price of the Products. 8.2. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profits or business interruptions.
9. Governing Law These Terms and your order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
10. Amendments We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you and your continued use of our services will constitute acceptance of the updated Terms.
